George Menke

George Menke

Founder

George, an Arizona native, founded the funeral home in 1977. He continues to provide counsel and support to the staff and families we serve on a daily basis.

Kelly Browder

Kelly Browder

General Manager

Kelly, an Indiana native, moved to the valley in 2017.  She is a 1991 graduate of John A Gupton College of Mortuary Science in Nashville, Tennessee.  She has been in the profession for the last 33 years serving across various states including Tennessee, Nevada, and Arizona.  She has made it her mission over the years to live the “Golden Rule”.


Kelly is a member of the Sun City Host Lions Club and is on the Board of Directors for the Arizona Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Association .  She currently lives in Surprise, AZ with her husband David, their daughter, 1 dog and 2 cats.  She is an avid fan of rodeo and the PBR, and in her spare time she likes to crochet and swim.

Funeral Director/ Embalmer

Robert “Rob” began his career in funeral service while in high school, 36 years ago. Rob graduated from the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service after graduating from New Mexico State University. Rob has served as a licensed funeral director with Menke Funeral & Cremation Center since 2006. Rob is passionate about serving the families of this community.


Rob was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico and is a current resident of Goodyear, AZ. He is married to his wife Libby and has 3 sons. Rob is an active member of Palm Valley Church in Goodyear, AZ, where he and his wife, Libby, have led a Grief-Share ministry for the past several years. Rob enjoys golf and is an avid fan of ASU, the Cardinals and Diamondbacks.

David Hinton

David Hinton

Funeral Director/Embalmer

David has been serving families in the valley since 2018. David received a Mortuary Science degree from Mt. Hood Community College in Oregon. David has been a funeral director since 1990. David has been with Menke Funeral & Cremation Center 2023.

David is a native of Idaho, has been a resident of Arizona for the past 6 years and lives in Surprise. He is married to his wife Becky who is a funeral arranger. David has 2 cats and 2 children. He is an 

active member of BPOE Elks, Ancient Free Masons Arizona, Life Member of the Ancient Free and Accepted Masons of Oregon, member of the ancient and Free Masons of Washington, life member of the Order of The Eastern Star of Oregon, member of the Order of Eastern Star of Arizona, member of the Moose and a Member of the American Legion of Oregon. 

In David’s spare time he likes doing his Genealogy, Diamond arts, listening to music and being home with the wife and cats.


Aimee Latour

Funeral Director/Embalmer

Aimee grew up in Southern Louisiana and graduated from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College with her Mortuary Science degree in 2017 and has been a licensed Funeral Director since. While in Mortuary school, she joined the Mortuary Fraternity where she helped to keep the cemeteries throughout the Louisiana and Mississippi coast clean. Aimee moved to Arizona in 2022, bringing her southern charm out west, and is honored to be able to serve the families of Sun City. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, filling her home with new plants, and creating spoon jewelry. She is a fur momma to her senior dog, Ainsley.


Susan Molina

Administrative Assistant

Susan started her career in the funeral business 2 years ago when she joined the Menke Funeral & Cremation Center team. Susan is a great support to both the funeral directors and to the families we serve.   A lifelong resident of the West Valley, Susan grew up in Avondale. A proud mother of two, she enjoys hiking, reading and spending time with her family, and is currently awaiting the title of Grandma. 

Vicki Jasperson

Receptionist / Administrative Assistant

Vicki has been a Receptionist and an Administrative Assistant for 30+ years in a variety of business.  From an Architectural Firm, to Education, an Arts League, and several Churches. She enjoys serving people and being in a supportive role. Working here at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center is a new business experience and she is in her element of expertise, supporting and helping the families in their time of need and supporting the staff.  

She has been in the Phoenix area since 2005. She resides with her husband Dave and puppy Meeka in Glendale, and she has 3 Children, two of whom are Phoenix Fire Fighters, and she has 9 Grandchildren that live here in the Phoenix area. She is involved in the community with a women’s group “Shine,” an active member of Copper Hills Church and in the Arts Community in Cave Creek.  

Dan Naegelin

Dan Naegelin

Continuous Care Specialist

Dan is an Arizona native (born in Miami AZ) and attended High School in Tolleson. He has a college degree in Management. Dan’s career has been working with cemeteries and funeral homes.


Dan has worked with several large companies and returned to Sun City to retire. Retirement is working as an Advance Planning Advisor for Menke Funeral & Cremation Center. 


When he is not helping families, Dan loves to ride his Harley and just relax with his one-eyed dog and three-legged cat.

Nancie Scalercio

Nancie Scalercio

Continuous Care Specialist

Nancie, a United States Navy Veteran, has been assisting families in the valley since 2011.


After graduating with a BA (Major: English/Minor: Pre-law) from Arizona State University, Nancie wanted to help families prepare for the future and to also be a support for families when they are going through difficult times of loss.


Nancie is a longtime Northwest Valley resident. She enjoys swimming, networking, traveling, and being with her family and friends. She feels very blessed to be a part of the Menke Funeral & Cremation Center Team!
