William "Ski" Zielinski Jr.

Loving husband, grandfather and great grandfather. William John Zielinski Jr aka "Ski", age 84, of Sun City AZ passed away on October 2, 2012. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on September 16, 1928. He was married to the love of his life Patricia Jane Zielinski for almost 60 years until she passed away in 2010. They raised five children, had eleven beautiful grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Ski proudly served in the United States Navy where he fought in the Korean War. He then served in the United States Air Force where he fought in the Vietnam War and received a purple heart. He was a true hero to his family and friends and will be deeply missed. Memorial Services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, October 6, 2012 at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center, 12420 N. 103rd Ave., Sun City, AZ.
