William Hartley

William G. Hartley, 76, of Sun City, Arizona died Wednesday, April 8, 2009 following a long illness. He was born in Dudley, MA on June 20, 1932. He was the son of the late William H. and Mae Paholski Hartley. He was predeceased by his wife, Yvette Ethier Hartley of 49 years, who died January 2, 2007. William is survived by his two sons, Bruce Hartley of Avondale, AZ and his wife Karen, and Duane Hartley of Westerly, RI and his wife Maureen, 5 grandchildren, Bruce Jr., Jessica, Kyle, Madeline and Olivia Hartley. Also surviving him are a brother Melvin Hartley of MA and two step-sisters Carol & Patricia Czupryna. He was predeceased by a brother Roy Hartley. William worked as a Surgical Technician in the United State Air Force and VA Hospital. He was a Communicant and usher of St. Clement of Rome Parish in Sun City. He was also a member of Knights of Columbus, Elks Lodge, American Legion and Moose Lodge. Friends may call 5-7 p.m., Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center, 12420 N. 103rd Ave., Sun City, AZ. A Scripture service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church, 15800 N. Del Webb Blvd., Sun City, AZ.
