William H Hansen

William H (Bill) Hansen of Sun City, Arizona left his earthly life on November 2, 2024 to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The cause of his death was congestive heart failure. Bill was born in Fremont, NE to Dwayne and Josephine Hansen on September 18, 1951.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Mary Lou (Ollenburg) Hansen; three sons, Seth, Scot (Amy), and Paul (Jenni); ten grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Susan (Randy) Brandenburgh and Sally (John) Shy.

His working career was sales and management, but his love was his family. He was happiest when surrounded by family or friends, laughing, joking, and playing cards and games. Bill was always generous in giving of himself and his time to others. He was a Christian and knew he was Heaven-bound when his life on earth was over. He will be missed by many.

Burial will be in Fremont, NE on Friday, November 22, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. 

The family is grateful to Hospice of the Valley and Kristal Bell Assisted Living for providing loving care and comfort to Bill and Mary these past few months.
