August 13, 1939 - February 23, 2021, William (Bill) L. Wisner passed away peacefully at home after a long cancer battle at the age of 81. Bill, also known as WL, was born August 13, 1939, to William J. and Edith G. Wisner in Longview, Washington. He grew up in Battleground and Amboy, Washington where he met Constance (Connie) O. Duncan and married in 1961. He was happily married to our wonderful mother for 41 years until her untimely death in 2002. Bill and Connie moved to Prineville, Oregon in 1977. They spent many years in Prineville, managing Wisner Bowl, the original bowling alley, and Wisner Construction, building logging roads while creating many memories and life-long wonderful friendships. In the 1990s, they moved to Arizona and started Pine River Construction where they remained through retirement. In 2012, Bill met Karen Starritt. He has spent the last eight years with an incredible woman enjoying the remainder of his retirement life. Bill enjoyed golfing, traveling in the motorhome, off-road Baja racing, and spending time with family and friends. Bill will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. He is survived by his best friend and partner, Karen Starritt, his son, David Wisner (Beth), daughter, Angela Hudspeth, brother Herbert Wisner (Maggie), grandchildren Olivia and Harley (Cassidy) Hudspeth, great-granddaughter Emma, and many nieces and nephews.
