Willard Dedmon

Willard "Will" Dedmon of Scottsdale, Arizona passed away peacefully on April 22, 2015 surrounded by members of his family. He was 78 years old. Will was born on March 10, 1937 in Heavener, Oklahoma. He moved to California at a young age and spent much of his young life there in Bakersfield and Ridgecrest, where his three children were born. Will then moved to Southeast Asia for work, first in Vietnam and later in Singapore and Indonesia. He retired in Thailand, a place very close to his heart and where he met his beloved wife. They then moved to Scottsdale where they enjoyed the last twenty years. Will was adored by his family and all who met him. Generous and genuine, he was always happy to help others before himself. Will loved the Diamondbacks, country music, reading, and spending time with his family. Will is survived by his wife Manee Dedmon; mother, Stella Bowles Estrada, and his brother, Harvey Dedmon. He was the beloved father to sons, Tim Dedmon and Scott Dedmon (deceased), and daughter, Susan Dedmon Casden. Will was a much loved grandpa to seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A memorial service celebrating Will's life will be held on April 28, 2015 at 10:30 am at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center, 12420 N. 103rd Ave, Sun City, AZ 85351. 623-979-6451.
