Wesley Biggs

Wesley C Biggs was born March 2,1933 in Denver, Colorado to Lonnie and Viola Biggs. He had two younger brothers Gene and Melvin and a half -brother Mike. On February 9, 1957 Wesley married the love of his life, Peggy Jo McWilliams, and their 65 year love story began. Together they have 3 children Don (Lila), Carrie (Brad), and Mike (Wendy). Wes was a proud grandfather to 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren, he adored them all. Wesley served in the United States Army where he had the opportunity to travel through Europe. He served for eight years and was awarded the Army Occupational Medal, National Defense Service Medal, as well as a Good Conduct Medal. After his military service he started a career at the Denver Water Board and retired in 1999 after 45 years. While Wesley enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, boating and traveling, his greatest loves were his wife, dancing and the ranch. Spending time at the ranch is where he found peace. He was dedicated to being an integral part in the lives of his family and friends. He lived life to the fullest, loved with all he had and enjoyed every moment. We are grateful for the time we shared and he will be truly missed. In lieu of flowers the family has asked for donations to be made to Saint Jude Children’s Hospital.
