Wallace Smith

Wallace Joseph Smith, “Wally” or “Poppy”, died April 29, 2014. He was born in Meriden, CT. on June 9, 1935. Survived by his wife Ellen Savanella-Sokolik Smith of Sun City, AZ. and sister, Barbara Giacco of Southington, CT, children Cynthia (Mark) Rosenberg and son Michael (Barbara Ann) Smith, all of Gilbert, AZ. Preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Anne Cotter Smith and brother Gregory Smith of Moodus, CT. He has 11 grandchildren and 5 soon to be 6 great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held on Friday, May 9th at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center 12420 N. 103rd Ave, Sun City, AZ at 3pm.
