Virginia Cassady

Virginia “Virgie” Cassady 92, peacefully passed away on August 6, 2018. She was born on June 11, 1926 to Louis and Louise Swab in Centerville, Iowa. After marriage, she lived in Unionville, Missouri, Scottsdale, Arizona and Sun City, Arizona. Virginia retired from the Arizona Bank in 1986 after 24 years of service. She was a member of St. Joachim and St. Anne Catholic Church in Sun City, Arizona. Virginia was preceded in death by both of her parents and husband, Paul Cassady, who passed away in 1987, brother, James Swab and sister, Delores Jackovich. She is survived by her son, Albert “Al” (Ronda), sister-in-law, Tabitha Swab along with many nieces and nephews. Special gratitude to her caregivers at “Because We Care Assisted Living” in Peoria, Arizona: Cindy Grabowski, Sonny Dergic, Diane Grabowski and Neci Curtis. As she requested, there will be no formal services. There will be a private burial service where she will be buried next to her husband at the Unionville Cemetery in Unionville, Missouri.
