Virgil Metevia

Metevia, Virgil Leroy Peoria, Arizona Virgil Metevia passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, February 14, 2023. Virgil was born May 7, 1930 in Standish, Michigan to the late Raymond and Florence (Bosley) Metevia. Virgil retired as a chemist with several patents in the silicone rubber industry. He enjoyed playing golf, traveling, playing cards and spending time with his family. Virgil is survived by his loving wife, Frances, and his four children: Susan (David) Jewett, Mark (Donna) Metevia, Martin Metevia and David (Barbara) Metevia; 4 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren and 7 step-great grandchildren. Private interment will be held Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
