Vincent McCabe, Jr.

Age 86, Oct 14th 2012. Passed quietly at home in Sun City AZ. Beloved husband of over 66 years, Betty. Loving father of Vincent III (Wiley) and William "Mike" (Marta). Dear grandfather of Vincent IV. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and great great nieces and nephews. His family moved to Parkville MO when he was 9. He graduated from Parkville High School in 1943, where he met his future wife, Betty. Vincent proudly served in the US Navy during WWII after graduating from Kansas State Univ., where he earned his degree in Electrical Engineering. He was honorably discharged from the US Navy in 1947 and went on to have long and rewarding career with General Electric. Service will be held at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center 12420 N. 103rd Ave. Sun City, AZ 85351 on Oct 22nd at 10:00 a.m. In Lieu of flowers please make a donation to your local VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars) or Saint Mary’s Food Bank.
