Twila Brotemarkle

Twila R. Brotemarkle, 104, of Avondale, AZ passed away Jan. 7, 2016 in Avondale. Formerly of Cumberland, MD she taught at Fort Hill H.S. and Washington Middle School, a total of44 years. She was a life member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Cumberland where she was very active in the church with music and teaching. She is survived by her only niece Twila Anne Louk (Dale); her great nieces and nephews: Mike Louk, Christine Rice, Kevin Mattingly, Julie Hiller, Kim Kurek, and Bill Hartung, and their families. She is preceded in death by her sisters Hazel Hartung (Bill) and Pauline Mattingly (James) and nephews Bill Hartung, Jr, (Judy) and J. Thomas Mattingly. Visitation will be at 12:00 noon with funeral service at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2016 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 830 E. Plaza Circle, Litchfield Park, AZ 85340.
