Thresa Darlene Hamlett

September 19, 1934 — December 1, 2024

Peoria

Thresa Darlene Hamlett passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 1. She was born in Pekin, IL on September 19, 1934 to Philip and Sarah Dini. She married Billy Gene Hamlett in 1955. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, and is survived by two sons, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Terri was a devout Catholic, loved many pets over the years, enjoyed family gatherings, weekends at the lake camping, holiday celebrations with her close friends and family, and carrying on her family tradition of homemade lasagna for Christmas. In her career she was an executive admin and a highly skilled typist. Her hobbies included crocheting, doing cross stitch, sewing, collecting angel and hummingbird figurines, and playing online cards. What gave her the most joy was spending time with her grandchildren. She will be forever missed by all who knew and loved her. Her family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Hospice of the Valley and Brookdale Union Hills for her care.
