Thomas Houston Dameron Jr. passed away peacefully on August 24, 2015. Thomas was born on March 20, 1931 in Pueblo, CO to his parents Thomas H. Dameron and Arelynn L. Clum; he was the youngest of two children. He attended West Point and joined the Air National Guard. On December 9, 1952, he married the love of his life, Caryol P. Lunak, and they shared a wonderful 62 years together. Thomas graduated from Denver University and went on to work for the Public Service Co of Colorado. He was devoted to his work and received endless recognition for his services for 42 years as the Director of Sales Taxes and Property Taxes. When Thomas wasn’t at work, he could be found on the golf course pursuing his lifelong passion, with his friends at Pebble Brook in Sun City West. He is remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather; and he is survived by his wife, Caryol Dameron, his three sons, Thomas III (Julie), Robert (Erin), and James (Belia); his seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center on August 27, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. 12420 N. 103rd Ave., Sun City, AZ.
