Theresa Pfeiffer

Theresa Helen Pfeiffer, 91, passed away peacefully on February 8, 2018, surrounded by the family she loved so dearly. Theresa was born in St. Louis, Missouri on October 21, 1926. She is preceded in death by her parents, Alois and Freida, 13 brothers and sisters, and her beloved husband of 54 years, Mike. After marrying in 1948, they moved from St. Louis to Phoenix, where they raised a tightly knit family of three daughters, Michelle, Kathy, and Kris, that continues to grow in the way that Theresa inspired, with faith and family above all. Theresa was a beloved matriarch, a devout Catholic, and a lovingly devoted morn, grandma, and great-gaga who taught her family how to pray the rosary and to love fiercely, and she taught her grandkids how to play cards and where to find the secret candy drawer on visits to her home, which always felt like everyone's home. To know Theresa was to love her instantly, and forever. Her strong spirit, her stubborn fight, and her unwavering selflessness will be missed by so many, but may we all find peace in knowing that she finally gets to dance again with her love, Mike. Theresa is survived by her daughters, Michelle Bradford (Mike) (Michael, Travis, Caitlin), Kathy Rogers (Greg) (Melissa (Scarlett), Grant, Stephanie), and Kris Poquette (Dan) (Ashley, Danielle (Ryan) (Rylee, Madison), Kirin, Gracie), her brother Chuck Kalkbrenner (Bernie), her sister Marge Hoffman, and countless nieces and nephews. A viewing and rosary will be held at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center, 12420 N 103rd Ave, Sun City, AZ 85351 on February 14 from 4-7pm, with the rosary starting at 6 pm. A funeral mass will be held the following day, February 15 at 10:30 am at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church, 9728 W. Palmeras Dr, Sun City, AZ 85373, followed by burial at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 Cave Creek Road, Phoenix, AZ 85024 at 12:30 pm.
