91, of Glendale, Arizona (formerly of Sun City) passed away November 12, 2012. He was born May 5, 1921, in Wauseon, Ohio to Reverend Ernest and Edith Mae (Shelton) Bradford. The former associate Pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Sun City, Rev. Bradford was a graduate of Otterbein College, Westerville, Ohio, with an A.B. in art and studied under Harriett Rex Smith at Valparaiso University. He was a graduate of United Theological Seminary, Dayton, Ohio. Rev. Bradford was an ordained elder and a member of the North Indiana Conference of the United Methodist Church. He served as a member of the General Board of Evangelism, Evangelical United Brethren Church, Evangelism Secretary for the Calumet District of the United Methodist Church, North Indiana, and District Missionary Secretary for the Calumet District. Rev. Bradford and his wife Luella traveled extensively throughout the United States for twelve years as vocational evangelists. Rev. Bradford participated in a nationwide Preaching Mission to the Dominican Republic, sponsored by the Presbyterian U.S.A., Methodist, and Evangelical United Brethren Churches. They served in Youth Camps, Bible Conferences, and Camp Meetings in both United States and Canada. Rev. Bradford served as pastor of the Bethany Evangelical United Brethren Church, Fort Wayne, Indiana, Broadway Christian Parish, South Bend, Indiana, and Portage First United Methodist Church, Portage, Indiana. An accomplished artist, Orla taught private art lessons. His wife Luella preceded him in death in 2004. He is survived by son Martin G. Bradford of Apache Jct., AZ. Memorial services will be held at later date.
