The Reverend John F. Domsch, 73, was received into the waiting arms of his Savior Jesus Christ on July 12, 2015. John was born on December 13, 1941. He became a child of God on January 7, 1942, through Holy Baptism at Saint Paul Lutheran Church, Oakland, Iowa. He was confirmed in the Christian Faith on April 3, 1955, at St. Peter Lutheran Church, Farnhamville, Iowa. From early on, John felt called to become a pastor. He graduated from Concordia Senior College, Fort Wayne, Indiana, and from Concordia Seminary, Saint Louis, Missouri. He served as a pastor in Sabetha and Topeka, Kansas, and Marshalltown, Iowa. He served the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod for many years and continued service through his retirement in Arizona at Fountain of Life Lutheran Church and Atonement Lutheran Church. He touched the lives of many different people through his ministry, church devotion and Biblical knowledge. John was a member at Fountain of Life Lutheran Church in Sun City, Arizona. He was a loving son, father and grandfather who was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. John T. and Constance Domsch. He is survived by his daughter Lara Wooten, her husband Jeff, and grandchildren Paige and Blake of Arizona; his son Jeffrey of Colorado and granddaughter Brittany; and his son Jeremy of Iowa, granddaughter Lexi and great grandson Kellan. Visitation will be at 10:00a.m. with funeral services at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 18, 2015 at Fountain of Life Lutheran Church, 15630 N. Del Webb Blvd., Sun City, AZ. He will be laid to rest at St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery in Concordia, MO. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Concordia Seminary, The Rev.
