The Gerald Amundson

Rev.Gerald Amundson, 90, of Sun City West passed away on March 4, 2012. Born May 4, 1921 in Gully, MN. Graduated from Twin Valley, MN high school in 1939. Graduated with honors from Luther College, Decorah, IA followed by 3 years of seminary at Luther Theological in St Paul, MN. He served 3 1/2 years in the US Army during WWII. Married to Ethel Twedt of Hingham, MT for 62 1/2 years. Survived by daughters Judie and Patty and a son David. Services will be held at Peace Lutheran Church at 2:00 PM on March 17. Interment with military honors at 1:00 PM on March 19 at National Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Cave Creek, AZ. Arrangements by Menke Funeral & Cremation Center.
