Terry Norman Barnum was born on February 2, 1946 in Woodbine, IA to Edward Francis Barnum, Sr and Maxine Mae (McCart) Barnum. He attended Woodbine Community School. Terry married Sharon Cook on May 27, l967 and they were blessed with four daughters. Over the years, Terry worked various jobs. He was very young when he and his siblings began working at the Woodbine egg produce, which was owned and operated by his parents. Among the jobs he worked, his favorite was driving the tour bus for American Explorer in Phoenix, AZ. Terry received Jesus as Lord and Savior and walked out his faith, trusting God. His relationship with the Lord was apparent to all and he raised his family to love the Lord also. He was so happy when his children and grandchildren were around, as they were the light of his life. Terry and his wife, Sharon, recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. Terry entered the gates of heaven on July 10, 2017. Terry was preceded in death by his parents and step-mother, Arlene Barnum. He is survived by his wife, Sharon of Sun City, AZ, and four daughters: Nancy Barnum of Avoca, IA; Corinna Smith (Kenny) of Harlan, IA; JoAnn Barnum of Logan, IA and Michelle Barnum of Sun City, AZ: 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; sister, Janice Behm of Woodbine, IA; brother, Edward Barnum, Jr. (Patti) of Gering, NE; sister, Cathy Cline (Rich) of Dunlap, IA; sister, Deb DeLozier (Jim) of Dunlap, IA; brother, Marc Barnum of Woodbine, IA and many other relatives and friends.
