Steven Charles Toth

Steven “Steve” Charles Toth, 68, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2016 at Serenity Palliative Care in Phoenix, AZ. Born May 24, 1948 in Chicago, IL, he is preceded in death by parents, Steve and Marge, sister, Kathy and brother, Tom. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Jo, to whom he was married for 48 wonderful years, grandsons, Jeremy and Mason, their father, Bobby (wife, Lorene and sons Beau & Lucien) Lachance and son-in-law, Mark (wife, Shirley and children Emily & Patrick) Perry. He served as a Marine during the Tet Offensive in Vietnam, Semper Fi. He was a true friend who became a court reporter in 1975. After retiring in 1996, he pursued his true passions as a woodworker, award-winning carver and photographer. He will be missed. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 17, 2016 at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 5045 E. Thomas Rd., Phoenix, AZ with a reception to follow.
