Shirley Ann Moore

Moore, Shirley Elizabeth Ann Age 87, went home on July 31, 2009. Shirley is survived by her husband, Robert L. Moore, daughters Carol-Ann Edwards and Gayle Doolittle, 13 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and a great-great granddaughter. She is preceded in death by daughter S. Maureen Ahern, sons Robert L. Moore and Michael J. Moore, grandson Ricky Moore and granddaughter Meaghan Doolittle. She was born in Meriden, CT and relocated to Arizona in 1987. Shirley was a talented artist and doll maker. Her portrait of John F. Kennedy hangs in the Kennedy library in Boston. She was an insurance actuary with Aetna for 35 years. She was a beautiful person, a leader, outgoing, cheerful, giving, elegant, classy, stylish, funny, talented and brilliant. She and Robert traveled to 56 countries together. A graveside service will be held on August 6th, 9:30 a.m. at National Memorial Cemetery of AZ, 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd., Phoenix. She lives in our hearts forever.
