Sharon Tolmachoff

Sharon Lee Tolmachoff 71, of Glendale, was called home to the Lord peacefully on May 14, 2017 with her family by her side and beloved husband, Dan, waiting for her in heaven. An Arizona native, Sharon was born on January 3, 1946 at St. Joseph Hospital. She graduated from Cortez High School and attended the University of Arizona, where she was a member of the Alpha Chi Omega Sorority. She married Dan in 1966 and began their life together. Sharon enjoyed serving others and did so for over 35 years as a Real Estate Broker. She was an avid reader, enjoyed playing tennis, and spent many evenings sewing and crafting. She was a caring, loving woman who had a sense of humor that had everyone laughing and will be greatly missed by all her family and friends. Sharon is survived by her daughter Heather Tolmachoff, son Gregory Tolmachoff, and grandson Beau Tolmachoff; her parents Geraldine and Heartsill Johnson, brothers Dennis (Karen), Ronald (Cheryl) and 5 nieces and 1 nephew. She was predeceased by her husband Dan Tolmachoff, brother Leland Johnson. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at Resthaven Park Cemetery, 6450 W. Northern Ave, Glendale, AZ 85301. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014 or Arizona Cancer Society, 4550 E.
