Sarah Moller

Sarah Frances Moller passed away at age 78, on June 15, 2018, with her family and friends at her side. Sarah was born and raised in Clarksburg, WV on September 24, 1939. She moved to Dearborn, MI in 1958 at the age of 18, where she lived and raised her family until she moved to Arizona in 1996. Sarah found a second home at the St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Church in Surprise, where she volunteered for The Society of St. Vincent de Paul and eventually became president of the church’s St. Vincent de Paul council from 2011 to 2017. Sarah participated in various volunteer opportunities and inspired many others to follow in her footsteps. Those who met her will always remember her uplifting spirit and her ability to instill a sense of joy and hope into everyone she met. Sarah is survived by her 2 children (Angela and Michael), 3 grandchildren (Christina, Matthew, and Travis), and her sister (Cecilia). A funeral mass will be held at St. Clare of Assisi, 17111 W. Bell Road, Surprise, AZ 85374 on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Society of St. Vincent de Paul at www.stvincentdepaul.net or by calling 602.266.GIVE (4483).
