Ruth Thomas

Ruth Aylett Thomas, 89, of Youngtown, Arizona passed away October 5, 2011. Ruth was born in Newport News, Virginia. She was a keypunch operator for IBM and moved to Arizona in 1962 from California. She was a member of St. Joachim & St. Anne Parish, Legion of Mary, Queen of the Holy Rosary Sodality and a member of the Roadrunners Bridge luncheon group. Survivors include her nephew Tom Long and niece Susan Harner both of Virginia. Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2011 at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center, 12420 N. 103rd Ave., Sun City, AZ. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2011 at St. Joachim & St. Anne Catholic Church, 11625 N. 111th Ave., Sun City, AZ. Burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Avondale, Arizona. Memorial donations are suggested to St. Joachim & St. Anne Catholic Church.
