Ruth Seebach

Ruth Nowack Seebach, 90, was called to her Heavenly Rest January 8, 2008. She was born on July 31, 1917, in Rochester, New York, and lived in Sun City, AZ, for more than 20 years. She was predeceased by her parents, Leo and Irene Nowack, husband Oliver W. Seebach, son Robert O. Seebach, and her sister Carolyn Thieser. She is survived by her daughter Gail Kunkel Lee, Of Georgetown, TX, daughter-in-law Diane Seebach, of Webster, NY, granddaughters Kristin Linscott Brad, of Allen, TX, Rebecca Kunkel, of Austin, TX, Jennifer S. Nelson D.J., of Brockport, NY, Katherine Russi, of Irondequoit, NY, grandson Robert W. Seebach, of Irondequoit, NY, and great-grandsons Jordan Parker, and Drew and Trey Linscott. She is also survived by her long-time friend John Ackerman of Sun City West, AZ. Ruth was born and raised in Rochester, NY, where she met and married her high-school sweetheart, Oliver. Ruth worked for the West Irondequoit School District, in administration, and after she and her husband retired, moved to Sun City Arizona, where she volunteered at the Boswell Hospital. She and her husband were members of Crown of Life Lutheran Church, in Sun City West. She moved to Round Rock, Texas, in 2005 to be closer to her family. Visitation will be held Friday, January 11, at the Menke Funeral & Cremation Center, 12420 North 103rd Avenue, Sun City, from 3pm to 5pm. Graveside services will be held at Sunland Memorial Park, Saturday, January 12, at 10am, 15826 Del Webb Blvd., Sun City. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to the American Diabetes Association, P.O.Box 1834, Merrifield, VA, 22116-8034, the American Cancer Society, or to Crown of Life Lutheran Church, Sun City West.
