Ruth Catlin

Ruth Louise Sexton Catlin, 93, a 32 year resident of Sun City, died in the El Dorado Retirement Apartments November 20, 2006. She is survived by her four children: Marjorie Ken Howe, Ames, IA, Joe Catlin, Hanahan, SC, Dan Carol Catlin, Mesa, AZ and Ruth Catlin, Sun City, nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was born in Ralston, IA, July 22, 1913 to Harry V and Flora Jenks Sexton. She married Willard Edwin Catlin in Ft. Dodge, IA, June 15, 1935. She was a homemaker who devoted her life to her family. She was a published magazine author and poet. She was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years. A memorial service will be held in Sun City in January 2007.
