Roy Taylor

Roy Cowley Taylor, 94, of Glendale, AZ passed away October 21, 2016. Roy was born in Fayetteville, TN and moved to Arizona in 1941. As the owner and operator of a Mobil Oil Station, he was a member of the National Mobil Oil Dealers Advisory Committee. He was Chairman of the Deacons Board of the First Baptist Church of Glendale and the Board of Directors of the Arizona Baptist Convention. Preceding him in death are his wife Martha Taylor in 1996 and his 7 siblings. Roy is survived by his children: Lynda Fox (James), Kenneth Taylor (Dixie) and Suzanne Stillion; 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28, 2016 at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center, 12420 N. 103rd Ave., Sun City, AZ. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 29, 2016 at Resthaven Park Cemetery, 6450 W. Northern Ave., Glendale, AZ.
