Rosalie (Lee) Vivona-Klaus passed away January 28, 2016. She was born in Bronx, NY. She worked as a medical assistant and met Joseph Vivona. They married and moved to San Francisco where they had three daughters. In 1969, a job change brought them to Arizona and Joseph passed away after 27 years of marriage. Lee was blessed to find a second love of her life, Gerald Klaus. They have been married for 29 years. Rosalie had a charisma, and attracted family, friends and strangers like a magnet. She made everyone she met feel special and important. She had a way of inspiring confidence and self worth in all she met. Friends and family were her treasure. Nothing made her happier than having a houseful of friends and family and cooking for them. We know that God and all of the angels in heaven will be well fed. Lee is survived by her husband, Gerald Klaus. She has three daughters, Lynda Heaphy, Donna Riffel, and Joanne Spencer. 2 step-children, Jeffrey Klaus and Stacey Vanderhagen. She has four grandchildren, Kevin, Jason, Briana and Alex. Step-grandchildren: Dylan & Christian, Shane and Claire. Great-grandchildren Emma and Colin, and her brother John Magazzu. Lee is a bright star in heaven watching over family. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 4, 2016 at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center, 12420 N. 103rd Ave. Sun City, AZ. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Arizona Humane Society azhumane.org Lee had a heart of love that knew no bounds whether family, friends or animals.
