Roma McFerren

Roma I. Christensen, age 76. Born Dec. 18, 1929, in Minden, NE. She was a long-time resident of Hastings, NE, before moving to Omaha, NE, in 1969. She had resided in Sun City, AZ, since 1996. She was preceded by her parents. Survivors include husband, Larry, of Sun City; daughter, Ann, and son-in-law, Dan Murphy, of Omaha; daughter, Nancy, and son-in-law, Dennis Ruben, of Paradise Valley; grandchildren Lauren Auerbach, Molly Winters, Brian and Daniel Ruben, Sam Murphy; and step-grandson Mike Murphy. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 16, at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center, 12420 N. 103rd Ave., Sun City. Memorials may be directed to the Fredericksburg Lutheran Church of Minden, NE, or the ALS Association.
