Roland Lauson

Roland James Lauson I went to be with the Lord on August 22, 2011. He was born on October 2, 1937 in Chicago, Illinois. Roland was known as ‘Jim’ to family and friends. He retired from the Post Office in 2007 after 34 years of service. He loved his family, his country, his dogs and sweets. He was simple, kind and giving. He fought to stay alive for many years. His strength and courage was amazing and he was loved and respected by all who knew him. Survivors include daughter Terri Gades, son Roland Lauson II, grandchildren Cristi Jones, Stacie Jones, Taylor Lauson, great grandchild Anthony Garcia, and sister Barbara Cordon. Other beloved family members include son-in-law Tim Gades, the Gades family and the Manderscheid family. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 27 at 2:00 p.m. at Apostles Lutheran Church, 7020 W. Cactus Rd., Peoria, AZ 85381.
