Robert E. Yearack went home to be with the Lord on January 20, 2016. He was born June 11, 1934 in Joliet, IL and an Arizona resident for 60 years. He was a Class of “52” graduate of North High School in Phoenix. Following graduation he enlisted in the US Navy proudly serving for 4 years. After his military discharge in 1956, he was hired by Phoenix Fire Department. He was one of the best Engineers that the fire department had, working out of the old Station 15 and then the new Station 15 firehouses for about 18 years, retiring in 1983. He was a proud member of the Local 493. He was a great cook, loved being in the kitchen, both at home and at the firehouse. He could cook up the Italian and Mexican foods like a professional! He leaves behind 6 children: Edward (Carol) Yearack, Tony (Christine) Yearack, Margaret Yearack (Mark) Pittsenburgher, Mark (Victoria) Yearack, James Yearack and Loretta Yearack McKenzie. 6 grandchildren: Ryan (Jasmine) Yearack, Michelle (Joe Stone), Heather Yearack, Danielle Yearack, Vincent Yearack, Cody McKenzie and great-grandson Elijah Yearack. Robert was preceded in death by wives Edith Ann Yearack and Barbara Lehman. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 6, 2016 at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center, 12420 N. 103rd Ave., Sun City, AZ 85351.
