Robert Thornley

Robert George Thornley, 75, of Sun City passed away Sept. 19, 2010. Mr. Thornley was born in Kansas City, MO to George and Grace Thornley. He served his country in the US Navy. A paper merchant, he retired to Sun City 10 years ago and was a member of the New England Club of Sun City and was a Boswell Hospital Courtesy Cart volunteer for 4 years. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Barbara; sons Charles Thornley and William Thornley (Stacey); daughter Grace Ellen Callahan (Shawn); grandchildren Liam & Nathan Thornley and Shannon & Finn Callahan. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, September 27, 2010 at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center Chapel, 12420 N. 103rd Ave., Sun City, AZ.
