Robert (Bob) L. Bowman, 66, a beloved father, son, papa and friend passed away on Tuesday, August 21st, 2018 at his home in Sun City, Arizona.
Robert was preceded in death by his mother, Mary (Perkins) Bowman and his sister, Rebecca Bowman. He is survived by his father, Harold Bowman; his ex-wife and mother of his children, Suzanne Bowman; son, Adam Bowman; daughter, Meghan Steward (Nick Steward); and grandchildren, Addison Bowman, Aiden Steward and Nora Steward.
Bob was born on July 19th, 1952 in Toledo Ohio and raised in Swanton, Ohio. Bob started off as a Buckeye at Ohio State University and then finished his Bachelor’s Degree at Toledo University. He moved to Phoenix, Arizona in the 1970s and became a subcontractor. Bob always had an amazing work ethic and in 1985, he opened up his own contracting company, Red Rock Curb which is still operating in the Valley today.
When Bob wasn’t working hard for his family, he enjoyed his morning coffee and news, traveling on his motorcycle to see new places, spending time with his loved ones, brushing up on his love for history and cuddling with his Golden Retrievers.
Bob will be greatly missed by all. A private Celebration of Life will be held in remembrance of Bob. “Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near, so loved, so missed, and very dear.”
