Passed away October 1, 2014 in Sun City, Arizona. Bob was born in Oak Park, Illinois in 1948. Bob grew up in La Grange, Illinois and attended Lyons Township High School. Bob lettered in Gymnastics. Bob attended Glendale Community College from 1966 — 1968. With his gymnastic background, Bob made the cheerleading squad. After G.C.C., Bob finished his education, graduating in 1972 from N.A.U. with a degree in Marketing. After graduation, Bob worked in the golfing industry in Sun City for a couple of years. In 1975, Bob took a sales job with Colgate-Palmolive in L.A. Six years later, he joined P.B.S. Building Systems. In 20 years, Bob sold many buildings to schools, studios, and the aerospace industry. Bob's favorite project was a 168 unit, two-story building with a spiral staircase that he sold to NBC Studios. In 2001, Bob joined his brother in the family business, Big D Floor Covering Supply, as an outside salesman. Bob retired to Sun City in 2010. Bob was an avid golfer. Although he never married, Bob loved children and loved to over decorate his home during Christmas and Halloween. Bob is survived by his brother, Steve and sister-in-law Donna, now of Moon Valley, his sister Pastor Sue Sprowls of Ypsilanti, Michigan (formerly of Phoenix), sister Susan Jackson of Tustin, California, and 1 niece and 4 nephews. Bob's family would like to thank Valeria Nemes and Jeannean Sabitina for their loving care during Bob's illness.
