February 1942 - July 2012 Resident of Sun City, Arizona. Robert passed away peacefully, surrounded by his wife, children, and grandchildren on Tuesday July 10th in Sun City, Arizona. Bob was born in Detroit, Michigan, raised in Ida Grove, Iowa and raised his family in Omaha, Nebraska, where he worked as a plumber. In 2005, Bob and beloved wife, Bette, moved to Sun City to be closer to their grandchildren. He was one of four children born to the late William and Adella Hink and was the beloved husband of Elizabeth Hayward for over 40 years. Bob will forever be remembered by his devoted brother Gary Hink, loving sisters Virginia Christenson, and Margaret Williams, beloved children Kimberly and Charles, treasured grandchildren Justin, Jonathan, Thomas, and Patrick, along with countless other friends and family whom were blessed to know him. Bob loved photography, playing the guitar, traveling with his wife, being with his family, and devoted much of his life to his Catholic faith. Bob touched the lives of many people with his smile and generosity, and maintained his trademark sense of humor all the way to the end. Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service on Monday, July 16, 2012 from 4pm to 7pm with Rosary at 6:30 p.m. at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center, 12420 N. 103rd Avenue, Sun City, AZ 85351. There will be a funeral Mass on Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at 10am, held at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church, 9728 Palmeras Dr., Sun City, AZ.
