Rita Anne Conti

Rita Anne Conti (Murphy), age 63, passed away on July 3, 2024, in Sun City, Arizona surrounded by her sisters, family and friends. Born on September 7, 1960, in Tomah, Wisconsin the daughter of James Murphy and Karen Muphy Dahl. The family moved to Kenosha where Rita attended Tremper High School.

Rita loved children which led to her being a childcare provider most of her life. Her love of cooking was expressed through teaching nutrition and healthy cooking to recovering addicts and planning for and cooking Sunday dinner with her cousin Allen Collins. She was an avid reader and puzzle person but her greatest passion was her children.

She was enormously proud of her children, Amber (Kevin) Hankins, Steven (Jessica Brown, Anthony (Megan Conti, and Christina Conti, her grandchildren, Jaden, Cameron, Hunter, Ashlynn and Declan. She was fiercely loved by her mother and sisters, Lynn (Ron) Rich, Deb (Jessie) Balay, Laurie (Len) Wojciechowicz, and Christie (Billy) Franks. Rita adored her many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her ex-husband David Condi and god-mother Judy Powers.

Rita was pre-deceased by her father, James Murphy, grandparents, Lila and Louis Murphy, Edward Moeller, Jr., and Patricia May Youngman
