Richard S. Napp 83, who was born in Detroit, MI, lived in Ohio, and was a member of the Knights of Columbus, before moving to Arizona in 1976, passed away on April 9, 2014, in Glendale, AZ, after a long illness. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia V. Napp. He is survived by his sisters, Barbara Halenar and Janet Zeldin of Pennsylvania. He is also survived by his daughters, Debra Adcox, Susan Janik, Barbara Workman, Karen Napp, Angela Terrill, and sons, Richard J. Napp and David Napp. He has 18 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren. Richard served in the military during the Korean War while in the Marine Corps. He was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Glendale, AZ. Visitation will be held on Monday from 4-7 p.m. at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center, 12420 N. 103rd Ave. in Sun City, AZ. Service will be held Tuesday April 15, 2014, at 11 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church, 19640 N. 35th Ave. Glendale, AZ. Interment will follow at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, Phoenix, AZ.
