Richard Gamel

Richard E. Gamel went to heaven to join his sons Richie and Gary on August 19, 2008 at the age of 75. He retired from Honeywell/Bull as an electrician, he was an avid Ham radio operator, and a U.S. Navy veteran serving in the Korean War. He is survived by his wife of 40 years Loretta, sister Ann Stan, son Mike Cassi, daughters Cyndi, Sherri, and Debbie. Grandchildren: Derek Jennifer, Deena, Lauren, Brad Elise, Josh, Jenna, Candi, Alex, Zack, Matt, Michael Desire`, and Emily. Six great grandchildren: Mariah, Celeste, Brooklynn, Kendra, Zhane, and Lila, and numerous nieces and nephews. Richard had a big heart and his family and friends will miss him dearly. Memorial services will be held at 10:30 AM, Thursday, September 11, 2008 at Christ Church of the Valley, 7007 W. Happy Valley Rd., Peoria, AZ. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, AZ.
