Raymond Roger

Raymond A. Roger, Peoria, AZ, passed away February 13, 2011 at the age of 78. Raymond was born July 18, 1932 in Haverhill, MA. He served with the Navy Seabees for 12 years from 1949 to 1961. He was a resident of Arizona from 1959 and retired from a 35 year career with Honeywell (Airesearch, Garrett, Allied-Signal) in 1994. He was ordained as a Deacon of the Catholic Diocese of Phoenix in 1989. Raymond was devoted to his family. He is survived by his sons William Roger (Shelly), Michael Roger (Mary Kaye), Kenneth Roger (Jennifer); his daughters Patricia Neratko (Joseph), Mary Barrett (Samuel), Kathleen Lampe (Donald); brother Paul Roger; sister-in-law Frances Wroblewski (Louis); 19 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by his wife Grace of 50 years, son David, father Ernest, mother Marguerite, brother Albert, sister Alma, and granddaughter Nicholle. Visitation with scripture service will be held at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center, 12420 N. 103rd Ave. Sun City, AZ from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2011. Mass will be held at St. Clement of Rome Church, 15800 Del Webb Blvd. Sun City, AZ at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2011.
