Beloved Father, Grandfather, Brother, Husband and Dear Friend. Born #5 of 8 children on September 12, 1943 to Raymond and Trinidad (Elizondo) Jubera in Mpls, MN. Sisters Sally Rudolphi, Rose (Ruben) Rocha, Doris (Ed) Kocienda, Mary (Bob) Knudsen, Linda (Mike) Haskins, brother Richard (Pat) Jubera. Ray left this world after a courageous battle with cancer on November 5, 2015. Ray graduated from VocTech High School in Mpls, MN, in 1961 then enlisted in the Air Force serving in Wichita Falls, TX. Ray was a skilled draftsmen and a certified marksmen. Ray returned to MN and married Patricia (Ballew) Jubera in 1965. He then started a family, daughters Dawn (Stephen Quantrell) and Keriann (Allen Johnson) and moved to Mendota Hts, MN. Ray supported his daughters in their activities which included softball, basketball, dance & girl scouts. Ray married Carol Probst and became an integral part of her 5 children's lives. Debra (Greg Saunders), Pamela (Darin Aguilar), Terie Hansen, James (Pamela Probst) and Sandy (Tim Brown); he had 11 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and beloved sister-in-law Liz (Steve Kemper). Preceded in death by parents Raymond and Trinidad Jubera, wife Carol Jubera, sister Gloria Herskind and brother-in-law Donald Rudolphi. Ray was a loyal, thoughtful and family-centered man. Ray enjoyed boating, dancing, bowling and traveling by car, train, plane and ship. Including with the "blue-haired ladies” exploring St. Paul as a tourist. His boating life began with a cabin cruiser at the Lilydale Marina. As time passed, the boat became a River Queen then a Carlcraft houseboat. All carrying the name of T’OTHERHAF. Many boat launchings later, T’OTHERHAF moved to Jolly Roger's Yacht Club in Inver Grove Hts, MN. Ray "weathered" many interesting stories on the river and a Lake Pepin adventure. Retirement brought Ray to Arizona with childhood friend and current companion, Paulette Stotts. Ray developed great friendships, joined a bowling team and the social life of Sun City. Ray's travels included many cruises to Mexico port cities and Alaska. His most recent adventures were to Europe, New York and Washington D.C. Ray never met a stranger. His "Jubera smile" won the hearts of many. Memorial gathering on November 13, 2015, 4-8 PM @ Southern Funeral Home, 414 Marie Ave, So. St. Paul, MN.
