With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Ralph Selensky, beloved husband, father, and pawpaw. He died peacefully at home on November 12, 2024, after a courageous 13-month battle with cancer. Ralph was born in Texas, son to William and Agnes Selensky.
He found joy and purpose in his Catholic faith and without fail began every day in prayer and saying one of many rosaries. He instilled the importance of humility, kindness, and generosity in his girls. Ralph loved his family, friends, being outdoors, fishing, and gardening. He spent hours sitting outside and watching the clouds and teaching anyone and everyone that asked how and when to plant. He loved his granddaughters and as a retired educator, always inquired if they were getting good grades and making sure they stayed focused on their education.
His absence leaves a void that cannot be filled, but his love will continue to guide and uplift us. Rest in peace, knowing you were loved, and will be missed infinitely. Sadly, your time here on Earth is done, but Heaven has gained an angel.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Mary; daughters, Susan and Katherine; granddaughters, Kylee and Kloee; his three brothers, (Herman, J.D., and Martin); his sister, (Yvonne); and numerous nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Robert.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM, on Monday, December 2, 2024, at Saint Joachim and Saint Anne Parish, 11625 N 111th Ave, Sun City, AZ with his burial immediately following at Sunland Memorial Park, 15826 N Del Webb Blvd, Sun City, AZ.
