Peter David Trovitch, was a devoted and loving son, husband, father and grandfather who passed away peacefully at his home in Arizona on January 1st, 2018. Pete is survived by his wife, Marie (Husovich), his children Patricia, Teresa (Verstraet), Peter, his daughter in-law Myrna (Marron), son in-law Sebastien and grandchildren Liam, Peter Jr. and Emilia. He is predeceased by his father, Pete Trovitch (died 1945) and his mother Thelma (Koldesko), died 2005). Pete was born in Hazleton, PA on October 25th, 1945 and lived most of his adult life in Freeland, PA before retiring with Marie to Arizona. Pete was a graduate from Freeland High School in 1963 and enlisted in the US Army. He served in the Army for 3 years, was trained in radar repair and served in Vietnam. He married Marie on July 13th, 1968 and recently celebrated 49 years of marriage. He worked as a cable engineer for United Cable Maintenance in the New England Area. To know Pete was to love him. He loved classic cars, wood working and the Boston Red Sox. Pete was a handyman who could fix anything and was always so generous with his skills. He was a great listener and loved a good conversation. He made you feel special just by talking to him. Pete will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him. May he rest in peace and forever live in our hearts. Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 11, 2018, at St. Joachim St. Anne Catholic Church, 11625 N. 111th Ave., Sun City, AZ. Interment will take place at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
