Pearl Staehle

Pearl Staehle, 85, of Surprise, AZ and formerly of Trumbull, CT, passed away on Sept. 15, 2015 with her loving children, Sandra and Gerald at her side. She is also survived by her son-in-law Keith Johnson. She was the widow of Otto Staehle. She was a graduate of Bassick High School and member of the consistory of the First United Church of Christ in Bridgeport where she taught Sunday school for 22 years and served as secretary for the ladies guild and president of Church Women United. She served on the board of the Desert Surprise United Church of Christ in Surprise. She was the manager of The Danish Hearth and a co-owner of the Cutting Board Pie Shop and Café in the Trumbull Shopping Park. She retired from a bookkeeping position at Consolidated Management in Westport. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 AM on Sept. 30, 2015 at Church of the Palms in Sun City.
