Pauline Maher

Pauline J. Maher,96, passed away on November 29,2020 at 3:00 p.m. with her caregiver Nora at her side. She was born January 4, 1924. She was preceded by her parents, Thomas Martin Maher of Paulstown Ireland and Mary Agnes (Teberg) Maher of Keithsburg Ilinois. Pauline Maher was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa. Her favorite song to sing was Immaculate Mary. She delivered the Eucharist to shut ins of the parish. She moved to Sun City Arizona in her retirement years She was a advocate for the Legion Of Mary at St. Joachim and St. Anne. She had a great devotion and love of the Blessed Mother. She visited retirement centers, hospice care units and Lock inns to share her Faith. She was the youngest of nine children. She was proceeded into heaven by her sisters Cecilia Vandersnick, Bernadine Kerr, Sister Mary Claire and her brothers Martin Maher, Ed Maher, Bishop Leo T. Maher, Father Raymond Maher and Leonard Maher. She is survived by 5 nieces and 5 nephews. A rosary will be held at 5:00 pm on December 16th at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center, 12420 N. 103rd Ave Sun City, Arizona. The funeral Mass will be held on December 17th at 10:00 am at St Joachim and St Anne in Sun City Arizona.
