Pauline Hoppe

Pauline "Polly" Hoppe, 98, born in Mohnton, PA, died peacefully in her sleep on June 11, 2014, at Cook Health Care, Youngtown, AZ. She is predeceased by her parents, Carol and Lizzie Miller, her brother, Werner Miller, her sister, Miriam Fisher Coryell, and he daughter, Mary Ann Hoppe. She is survived by her husband of 76 years, Herman J., and her daughter, Sister Carole Ann Hoppe, OSF. Polly was a Secular Franciscan for 53 years. At the time of her death, she was a member of the San Damiano Fraternity. She was amember of the Sodality and Rosary Makers of the  Church of St. Joachim and St. Anne. She was a Eucharistic Minister in church and to the home bound for many years. Visitation will be on Monday, June 16th, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. with the Holy Rosary at 2:30 p.m. at  Menke Funeral & Cremation Center, 12420 N. 103rd Ave., Sun City, Arizona 85351. Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday, June 17, at 10:00 a.m. at the Church of St. Joachim and St. Anne, 11625 N. 111th Avenue, Sun City, Arizona 85351. Burial will follow at Sunland Memorial Park Cemetery.
