Paul See

December 31, 1969 — February 4, 2011

Paul D. See 11/3/1950 - 2/1/2011 The wisdom, generosity, and unique sense of humor of Paul See will be forever missed by his loving wife, Janice; his daughter, Kelly, Janice’s children, Robert (Kimberly and daughter, Harley) and Stacy; his parents, Paul Sr. and Helen; his sisters, Patty and Beverly; and a vast array of extended family, friends, and colleagues in the metals industry where he shared his expertise for over 25 years. He played the role of passive observer and could always be counted on for his tolerance and nonjudgmental view of others, as well as for his clever quips and perfect comic timing. His greatest joy was taking care of those he loved and seeing them succeed, and his generosity extended to anyone he encountered. In addition, he was a sci-fi addict, an avid reader, an enthusiastic football fan, and an amateur political pundit. He loved exploring the Southwest (and the world) with his wife, swapping Onion articles and watching movies with his daughter, discussing politics and current events with his parents and sisters, and just spending time chatting and laughing with those in his life. He enjoyed contemplating metaphysics and might have been a king in a past life. He indulged in all sorts of vices, and was especially fond of fried catfish, frozen custard, and an occasional whiskey. In short, he knew how to live in the moment and was thoroughly enjoying life until the end. There will never be another like him.
