Patricia Stokely

Patricia Ann Stokely, died peacefully surrounded by family and friends on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 after a sudden illness in Sun City, Arizona. She was born on December 19, 1932 in Atlanta, Georgia and was a graduate of Louisiana Tech University. She is an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Sun City where she was a deacon, member of P.E.O., actively involved with the Mission Committee and attended the University of Life. Namely, she was a devoted mother to her children and loved by many. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Colonel Joe Edwin Stokely; mother, Catherine Baggett Hall; and father, George Dill Hall, Jr. She is survived by a brother, George Dill Hall, III (Joan) of Dallas, Texas; a sister, Amy Baggett Blanton of Springhill, Louisiana; five children, David Michael Spreitzer (Mary), Lexington, KY; Stephen Matthew Spreitzer, Louisville, KY; Catherine Joanne Hunt, Lexington, KY; Teresa Marie Spreitzer, Lexington, KY and Laura Ann Nelson (Dave Russell), Lexington, KY; and three grandchildren, Katherine Elizabeth Nelson; Margaret Ann Nelson and Roman Mason Wells. Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at the First Presbyterian Church, Sun City, AZ. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m at the church. Burial will be at Sunland Cemetery, Sun City, Arizona.
