Patricia Groff-Zinkman

Patricia Groff-Zinkan, born April l, 1932, went home to the Lord, Wednesday July 30, in her Mesa home, in the presence of her loving family and friends, after a ten week battle with cancer. Patricia was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Herman Groff. Patricia's joyful presence and silly sense of humor, along with her beautiful blue eyes will be dearly missed by her husband Norman Zinkan, her children, Sue Alparone, Sheila Mandoza, Cyndi Imbriale, Rick Groff, 12 grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. Patricia was born in Lewiston, IL and moved to Arizona in 1956. A long time resident of Glendale, she moved to Mesa in 1991, and was a member of St. Peters Lutheran Church. Patricia retired, after 20 years from Food City in 1987. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, dancing and traveling as well as her hobby of painting ceramics, and early morning walks. Visitation will be 6-8 P.M., Thursday, August 7, 2008 at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center, 12420 N. 103rd Ave., Sun City, AZ. Graveside service 9:00 a.m., Friday, August 8, 2008 at Resthaven Park Cemetery, 6290 W. Northern Ave., Glendale, AZ with memorial services to follow at 11:30 a.m. at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 1844 E. Dana Ave., Mesa, AZ.
