Patricia Edris

Patricia W. Edris passed away peacefully on July 4, 2017, at the Sun Valley Lodge nursing care center in Sun City, AZ. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Earl V. Edris, and three children - Earl, Jr. of Vicksburg, MS, Ann DiTommaso of Endwell, NY, and Scott of Neshanic Station, NJ. A fourth child, Robert M. and a brother, William H. Wood preceded her in death. Patricia also has 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and one great, great grandchild. Patricia was born in Lebanon, PA to Elizabeth and Stuart Wood. She is a graduate of Lebanon Valley College and taught algebra in Lebanon and Cedar Crest high schools for 30 years. She moved to Sun City in 1989 and filled her retirement time with musical activities. Pat directed the Sun City Handbell Ringers for several years and also performed handbell solos. She sang with the Sun City Choraliers and other musical groups. She was a member of Faith Presbyterian Church and sang in the choir. Pat shared her talents freely and will be missed by all who knew her. Visitation will be 10:00-11:00 a.m. with a service at 11:00 a.m. on Tues., July 11th at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center, 12420 N. 103rd Ave., Sun City.
