Pastor Greg Rohlinger, born December 11th 1969, went to be with Jesus on Sunday December 6th 2015 at 8pm. Pastor Greg’s handling of a terminal illness over the last 5 years was an inspiration to many, as he encouraged tens of thousands to “just keep rocking!” As a young man Greg was a self-proclaimed “wheels off sinner”, but that all changed when he gave his life over to Christ and committed to a life in ministry. He left his native California to attend Southwestern Bible College here in Arizona. It didn’t take long for him to fall in love with Lori who would eventually become his wife. He did not know it, but his life was on a path to bring hope and life change to thousands of people. After several years in ministry Greg and Lori were called to start a new church. They knocked on thousands of doors in the west valley and in October of 2000 Palm Valley Church held it’s first services. Under his leadership Palm Valley grew from just a few to over 4,500 in attendance each weekend. His love and passion for the church was only surpassed by his love for his family. His faithfulness to Christ and devotion to following Him in everything are a legacy that will continue to impact the world. He is survived by his wife Lori, three sons Jakob, Zachary, and Joshua a daughter Brooke, his Father, Bob and two sisters Michelle and Beth. A memorial service will be held at Christ Church of the Valley, 7007 W. Happy Valley Rd., Peoria, AZ on Tuesday, December 15 at 6pm.
